Q: Is this really a small business?

A: Yes! I run this business mostly by myself — with a little help from friends and family at times. I have no investors, no parent company & no other owners! 

Q: How long will it take to get my order?

A: All orders ship economy unless otherwise noted. It can take 5-7 business days once shipped. Orders are generally packed within 5 business days. 

Q: Can I use the scratcher on my partner/child/animal?

A: No matter who you are using it on (including yourself) make sure to use it gently and check in often on the pressure level. Especially on those who cannot communicate their comfort. 

Q: Can I freeze or heat it up?

A: Warming up the scratcher is not recommended. The gemstone tips may become too hot and cause discomfort. To cool your scratcher, place it in a waterproof container or bag and let sit in the freezer for a couple hours. Then remove from the bag and enjoy! 

Q: How do I wash the scratcher?

A: Use a skin safe gentle soap or cleanser to remove any oil or debris from the scratcher as needed. Dry thoroughly immediately. Excess moisture or harsh cleaners may cause the tines of the scratcher to separate from the handle. 

Q: Can I use oil/lotion with the scratcher?

A: Yes, but be careful as above to avoid submerging in any viscous liquid as it may erode the connection between the stone and the wood. The stones are natural and some are more porous than others. So some staining may occur. 

Q: Why is there a dog hair in my package?

A: Because I'm not perfect & Chili hair likes to explode into everything I have.
